As a college student and later a working mother I never had the time or the money to take up photography. I loved the idea of creating images and having an art form I could produce with a camera. One day my son was in college and I was getting a divorce, I decided not to postpone the dream any longer. I jumped in head first, committing to excellent equipment, professional Adobe programs, and a good instructor.
This is one of the best decisions I ever made. The camera has taken me places. I delight in endless pleasure it offers my creative spirit, the common ground I discover with fellow photographers both ammeter and professional around the world, and the access it gives me to people and places. I was recently included as a member of the “Press” on the Press Boat in an international sailing event. Life is so much fuller when you follow your passions.
When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I am a full time Realtor who ranks top in sales in Northern California.

I love taking photographs. It’s a passion, an adventure; it takes me places.
Looking at my photos and showing them to others is always a delight, an opportunity to show off, remember the moment, feeling alive being there. My pictures are me, my perceptions, and my way of seeing the world. In a sense, all a reflection of me.
I joined the St Francis Yacht Club in 08, volunteered on the race committee, found myself photographing Sailboat races of all sizes; and most recently, the Swan 42 international Regatta in Newport in RI sponsored by the NYYC at Harbor Court.
The experience was “like being John Fitzgerald move”, being in a dream, the action, energy, beauty, the people, the location. An Olympic event and a grand experience.
SmugMug has brought taking photos to a whole new level... Now I can share photos around the world, literally in minutes, and to my amazement, receive thanks and admiration for being there and capturing the moment for all of to remember.
I own a software company. We provide wireless spend managements services for large corporations, state and federal governments. We are a successful company in an exciting and growing space. It keeps me very busy. I love this world too.
